“Tre Tucker in Action: Capturing Speed and Determination”

This latest piece brings the explosive energy of wide receiver Tre Tucker onto the canvas. Known for his quickness and agility, Tucker has already shown flashes of being a game-changing player for the Raiders. I wanted to capture that precise moment when focus, motion, and determination all collide — the instant he secures the ball and eyes the open field ahead.

Working with colored pencil on toned paper gave me the chance to emphasize both light and shadow. The contrast of his white gloves and helmet against the dark Raiders uniform created strong visual drama, while the red of the football anchors the composition and pulls the eye into the action. I paid special attention to his expression beneath the facemask — you can almost feel the intensity through his eyes as he pushes forward.

For me, this drawing is about more than just athleticism. It’s about capturing the essence of a player who embodies drive, speed, and heart. As with much of my Raiders artwork, my goal is to give fans a piece that reflects not just a uniform, but the spirit of the game and the team we love.
